Storybird:
I found
storybird a really innovative and experimental website which combines Information
and Technology with literacy teaching in a fun and creative way. The website
consists of a bank of images which children can pick to use within their own
story. The image can be inserted into their book where they can then use the
text box to insert the text for their story. After having chance to explore
this website, I would recommend using this website during literacy lessons
because it allows children to be creative and expressive yet still incorporates
the typical literacy element of creating and writing a story.
